Services for adults and children with intellectual and developmental disabilities, provided through New Mexico’s Developmental Disabilities (DD) Waiver.
Family Living Services
A residential service supported by the Developmental Disabilities Waiver and built around family inclusion. People live with a natural or surrogate family and become a valued part of it. “I have an important role in the family” is what we hear most. Family Living includes 24/7 support, help with medication, health care coordination, access to community resources, and proactive planning for every part of life, from daily routines to family vacations, so each person can take ownership of their life.
Respite / Substitute Care
Short-term care when a person’s usual caregiver is away or needs relief. We provide on-time and immediate coverage when planned respite or emergency care is needed. Respite can include in-home substitute care and outings of the person’s choosing.
Personal Support Companion
Help with activities of daily living, paired with genuine companionship, so each person can gain, keep or improve skills. Supports range from total personal care to building on a person’s existing skills and abilities.
Goods and Services
Support for the outcomes each person sets in their Individual Service Plan (ISP): living arrangements, relationships, community inclusion, activities and work. Funds can be used to buy items that improve quality of life, such as membership fees, fitness fees, tuition and classes, summer day programs and social memberships.
